K & M Maintenance – Website and SEO

Who they are

K and M Maintenance is an established and highly successful gas engineering company based in Longridge, Preston. Carrying out 100’s of gas repairs each month for leading home insurance companies, they are possibly the most local successful gas services company in the north of England.

What their requirement was

Whilst being incredibly successful in the home insurance related repairs market, K and M saw an opportunity to provide more domestic work. They wanted a website which would promote their domestic services to homeowners throughout Preston and the North West.

What we did

We popped out to meet the team at K and M Maintenance and found them great to get along with. We talked about their business goals and advised them on exactly how they might go about achieving them. We we’re chuffed to bits when they commissioned us to go ahead and get on with it.

So, we went ahead and designed the new company brand, colour palette and website – featuring background video sections, a fully responsive design, strong call to actions throughout, and some great unique written content on the subject of boiler repairs, boiler installations and so on.

On launching the new website to Google we saw an immediate improvement in Google rankings, with page 1 positions for 1 of the key search terms that we’ll be targeting as we move forward.

The website was designed using WordPress and housed on our own dedicated server for maximum page loading speed.

Moving forward

As we move forward in our SEO relationship with K and M, we’ll be producing unique, valuable content (you might call it link bait) to add to the website via the blog. Content that will be useful to the visitor of the website. We’ll be promoting this valuable, useful content via the companies social media platforms to grow their social audience, improve their engagement ratios and strengthen their positions online.
