All websites will be designed using WordPress as our chosen web publishing platform and designed in-line with clients brief. To keep our costs low, we will always begin with a customisable WordPress theme, purchased from https://themeforest.net/ – which will be fully redesigned in-line with our clients brand identity and business objectives. Any images required for the website which we do not already hold within our own library will be chargeable at cost price. Images are usually purchased from Istock or Shutterstock.
Pumpkin Web Design Ltd agree to make reasonable changes and amendments as required to meet the clients objectives, following the unveiling of the first design of a website. Pumpkin Web Design Ltd reserve the right to cease making amendments should Pumpkin Web Design Ltd deem them as unreasonable.
As of 1st September 2014 all websites will be created to include WordPress security designed to minimise the risk of hacking by any third party. Pumpkin Web Design cannot guarantee that any website is 100% invulnerable to third party corruption.
All websites will be compatible on major up to date web browsers, mobile devices and tablets at the time of launching (submitting to Google). However, we cannot guarantee 100% compatibility on every possible variation of operating system, web browser, device type and size and monitor resolution.
We do not test websites on out of date web browsers.
All websites will be created to include realistic on-page SEO as standard. This includes meta titles and descriptions on the homepage and other key pages, tagged images and outbound linking.
Under our basic support agreement Pumpkin Web Design Ltd agree to add blog posts (as provided by the client), edit page textual content, create new pages using content provided by the client. Pumpkin Web Design Ltd will provide advice on all things web including SEO and using the WordPress CMS as required by the client. Pumpkin Web Design Ltd reserve the right to cease support should Pumpkin Web Design Ltd deem the support requests as unreasonable.
Basic Support Plus Content Writing:
Under our basic support plus content writing agreement Pumpkin Web Design Ltd agree to add blog posts, edit page textual content, create new pages using content provided by the client. Pumpkin Web Design Ltd will provide advice on all things web including SEO and using the WordPress CMS as required by the client. We will also either write or source a unique article to be published on the client website once per month or more frequently if agreed. Pumpkin Web Design will ensure that new articles are published with on-page SEO in mind. Pumpkin Web Design Ltd reserve the right to cease support should Pumpkin Web Design Ltd deem the support requests as unreasonable.
Search Engine Optimisation
Pumpkin Web Design Ltd are highly experienced in SEO however we can absolutely not guarantee search engine positions. Search websites such as Google can change without warning.
All websites (unless otherwise agreed) are hosted with Fasthosts on shared servers as part of our reseller agreement with Fasthosts. Pumpkin Web Design can not guarantee the stability of these servers and accept no responsibility for the loss of any information caused as a result of a Fasthosts server issue.
Pumpkin Web Design Ltd take precautions to minimise website vulnerability. We can not 100% guarantee that any website is invulnerable to hackers. Should any website become damaged or compromised as a result of hacking, Pumpkin Web Design Ltd reserve the right to apply charges for any necessary work in rectifying the problem.
As our client you are expected to keep in regular contact with us. Pumpkin Web Design Ltd can not be expected to grow any website or business without regular communication.
Pumpkin Web Design Ltd reserve the right to alter our pricing model at any time as changes occur on the internet that increase or decrease our workload.
We do not back up server content or databases as standard but we do provide back ups as an additional service. Backed up data is stored both on and off site. We take reasonable precautions to ensure that all backed up data is safe but we cannot be held responsible for the loss of data.
