Branding & brand identity

Relatively speaking, this is a fairly new page on our website. We never really intended to offer branding as a specific service, but having enjoyed watching countless businesses completely change their overall brand identities as a result of loving the web design work that we’ve done for them, it seems daft not to!

John has been in the internet marketing industry since 2005, prior to which he worked in traditional advertising, working with small to medium businesses throughout the UK in creative design. John considers himself to be a naturally creative and business minded individual, who enjoys turning his talents towards helping other businesses grow. John is the in-house website designer and treats every single project like it was his own, paying the utmost attention to detail to design, SEO, UX and conversions. Also plays a mean guitar!

What is Branding?

Branding is the process of creating a name for your business along with a themed design which will aim to create a lasting positive impression with your target customer through consistency in theme, colours, typography and campaigns. For example, you might associate Pumpkin Web Design with cerise and grey colours, our particular font, and a tendency to publish consistently down-to-earth, slightly tongue in cheek content. If any of those sound about right when you think about us, you’ve latched onto our brand – well done us!

How can Pumpkin brand me happy?

We’re pretty good at researching competitors, outside-the-box thinking, design and colour palettes. We’ve helped to launch countless new business start ups, all with a very different and unique angle to them. Every business and business sector needs individual attention so why not give us a call to discuss your brand today?

Why is a strong brand so important?

You have undoubtably got some serious competition out there, so it’s really important that you stand out from them. A strong, well thought out brand identity can not only make you stand out from your competitors as “a company a little different to the rest”, but can also create an instant professional image that builds trust and encourages communication and loyalty.

Keeping your brand consistent across your various points of communication such as your website, your business cards, your letterheads, your invoices and so on, will really help to strengthen your companies brand and reputation moving forward. Good branding can be the difference between you looking like a company taking things seriously, or one which is going about things half-cocked so to speak.
