A great way to drive targeted traffic to your website is to use your blog as a platform on which to answer every possible question your customers may have.
For example, you may be running a fashion store online, and one question your customers may have could be “how should I wear a bodycon dress?”
By writing a blog post titled “How should I wear a bodycon dress?”, and then answering the question within your blog content, there’s a great chance that Google will choose to show your article to people who type that question in! This is assuming of course that your article is unique, informative and well linked to from social networks and other trusted websites.
As you can imagine, if you were to persevere with this type of blog writing, over time you would be driving a hell of a lot of target traffic to your blog posts, and in turn the rest of your website. You might include various call to action’s on each blog posts to ensure that you motivate your visitor to move away from the blog which they are enjoying reading, and onto your products or whatever.
Writing good web content via your blog is not to be under-estimated. It’s a long lasting, cheap and very effective way to win new business, if a little time consuming.
