Williams Amusements – Online Shop and Brochure Website

Williams Amusements is a really cool business based in Pontefract, Yorkshire which specialises in the sale, repair and hire of retro arcade machines. What’s not to love about that!

With a great reputation for outstanding service and classic vintage gaming, Williams Amusements asked us to develop and design their website in a kind of hybrid style – corporate yet quirky. Perfect for us!

We would have loved to have gone nuts with the quirky design side of this project, but since our client needs to appeal to the corporate market as well as gaming enthusiasts, we had to reign it in a bit.

Take a look at the website if you like. It’s published on WordPress and has Woocommerce bolted on for the shopping cart facility.

A bit like our own website, we used a load of cheesy animated GIF to create a retro feel where appropriate, whilst trying our hardest to maintain a reasonably corporate identity by using lots of clean white space and high res imagery.

In terms of Google rankings – check it out! The website is already ranking at the top of Google for “arcade machine repairs” and rocketing up the search engines for “arcade machines”.

We’re also helping Williams Amusements out with growing their social audience on Facebook. We’ve designed and launched their first Facebook competition which is starting to gain momentum as we speak.
